This project has been all about the sign, the circular economy in action. When electronics can no longer be repaired or reused at their highest value, it’s time to think outside the box…or in this case, outside the letters.
For the RfR Community Solar Reuse Centre, volunteers have been building our centre signage from salvaged materials, filling each letter with fried circuit boards and discarded e-waste. It’s a creative way to keep valuable resources in use and out of landfill.
And while Rome wasn’t built in a day, our ‘R’ is certainly nearing completion!
