A series of marine-themed critters were produced for the annual ‘whats under the wharf’ event in January 2023, hosted by Nature Coast Marine Group [NCMG] Eurobodalla. The marine cut outs were made from fluorescent light fittings removed from the CWA Narooma hall during recent electrical upgrades, materials destined for landfill. They were cut out using our customised CNC machine under direction of RfR member Ben Tindale of Tindale systems. Proceeds from the sale of these creatures at the event raised significant funds to assist NCMG with efforts to ensure the unique local biodiversity is preserved during the redevelopment of the old Narooma Wharf by Transport for NSW.
